Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Terms and Conditions

Please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions before signing this agreement. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Coverage:

a. CDW provides limited coverage for damage to the rented vehicle in the event of an accident.

b. It covers Bodywork of the car, which is essentially where it is painted: the doors, bonnet, back, side panels and wing mirror housings.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Not Covered:

a. Roof of the car - Glass (all windows, lights and mirrors)

b. Tires & wheels - Flat battery - Interior trim (seats, carpet, and all interior materials)

c. undercarriage

d. Your belongings (anything left in the car, including the boot and glove box)

e. Lost keys – Undercarriage - Gears/transmission - Total Damage and Theft

Exclusions:

a. CDW and LDW do not cover damage or loss resulting from:

i. Intentional acts, willful misconduct, or gross negligence of the renter.

ii. Use of the vehicle in violation of the rental agreement, such as driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

iii. Off-road driving, racing, or participating in any illegal activities.

iv. Towing or pushing another vehicle.

v. Damage or loss due to a breach of the rental agreement or failure to return the vehicle as agreed.

Deductible:

a. CDW and LDW may have a deductible amount that the renter is responsible for in case of damage or loss. The deductible amount will be clearly stated in the rental agreement.

b. The renter is liable for the deductible amount per incident, unless otherwise specified in the rental agreement.

Reporting Accidents or Damage:

a. In the event of an accident or damage to the rented vehicle, the renter must immediately notify NN Rent a Car and local authorities.

b. The renter must complete an accident or damage report, including all relevant information and documentation, as required by NN Rent a Car.

c. Failure to do so will result in full charge on the customer.

Claims and Compensation:

a. The renter must cooperate fully with NN Rent a Car and the insurance provider in the investigation and settlement of any claims.

b. Compensation for damage or loss is subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy and may be limited by policy exclusions and deductibles.

Rental Agreement:

a. CDW and LDW coverage is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the rental agreement signed by the renter.

b. The renter must comply with all other terms and conditions specified in the rental agreement, including but not limited to age requirements, driving license validity, and additional driver policies.

Disclaimer:

a. CDW and LDW coverage may not be applicable in certain countries or regions. It is the renter's responsibility to confirm the coverage and limitations at the time of rental.

b. NN Rent a Car and its insurance providers shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property arising from the use of the rented vehicle.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions regarding the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) offered by NN Rent a Car.
